    • The sun came out just long enough to make yesterday a dress day. . I am definitely the kind of gal who loves to tell other gals about a great deal they got on a dress, or the fact that a dress has pockets. And this happens to be a dress that I got a GREAT deal on. . I’d tried this on months before at Anthropologie and absolutely loved it. But the $258 price tag told me, “You’re dreaming, honey!!” . Being the savvy shopper I am, I knew it would likely go on sale. So I kept an eye on their website until it was eventually marked down. . I called a few of their stores to see if they had my size, and lo and behold, they did. But it was a “good news bad news situation.” . The dress had been part of a sidewalk sale and had gotten some pretty bad water damage on the bottom. But if I wanted it, she would mark it way below the asking price. I jumped. . I got this lovely dress with an original price tag of $258 for...... $20! ✨💖👌🏻👍🏻✨ . Sure it has a little bit of water damage on the bottom, and if I felt like fixing it I could bring it to a seamstress and she’d make it good as new.     • What a month it’s been. . I was recently talking with a dear friend about personality tests and how accurate they are. So, I decided it was time to retake mine. Turns out, I’m an ENFP. . After reading through what that means, I was blown away by its accuracy. E stands for extroverted, N for Intuitive, F for Feeling and P for Perceptive. I researched how these affect work, relationships, lifestyles etc., and found some clarity about why I feel the way I do. . I’ve always been interested in so many things. I’m a photographer, but I love to bake. I want to see the world, but I love to sit at home. Turns out, ENFPs are fascinated by new ideas and growth. They excel at blazing their own trail, being their own boss and exploring further than most. . Discovering these aspects of my personality helped make sense of my life choices lately. . Last month I left my corporate job to pursue freelance photography full time. (And hopefully some baking, too.) . While it was a very scary decision to make, it appears to have been the right one. I was in Alaska for two weeks, shooting portraits and a wedding, and was then immediately flown to Moab, UT to shoot a campaign for Eddie Bauer. Now I’m at home, digesting it all. . I feel a tremendous amount of gratitude to the universe for helping me along on my path, as well as a deep love and respect for all my fellow ENFPs out there pursuing their dreams. We’re all in this together! . In these next few weeks and months, I’ll be establishing a new lifestyle - working to build my business and grow my creativity, but also carving out time for me. Picking up a new book, working on my cross stitch projects, baking a loaf of bread and breathing in the salty sea air around me. . Working a 9-to-5 really left room for little else. Discovering that I’m an ENFP has taught me that I crave it all. . So here I am. Blazing a new trail, exploring new ideas, pushing my limits - being a stereotypical ENFP and feeling really good about it. . Do you know your personality type?
